- Our software uses Twilio to collect personal data through sign up forms, this helps us manage personal data of users. We use the email to manage and talk to your clients, customers, and other interested parties. We may also use Twilio to deliver transactional welcome emails after purchases. We do not sell or share your email addresses or any personal information about you. You may unsubscribe from Twilio at any time. If you need help unsubscribing, please click here and let us know.

Patient10x is a HIPAA-compliant healthcare reputation management and patient feedback platform. By providing your mobile phone number to a healthcare provider that uses Patient10x, you consent to the text messaging practices described in this policy.

How We Obtain Your Consent

Patient10x sends SMS messages on behalf of healthcare practices to patients who have voluntarily provided their mobile phone number directly to the healthcare provider. Consent is typically collected through:

  • Patient intake forms completed at the time of your appointment
  • Paper or digital registration forms provided by your healthcare provider
  • Direct verbal or written authorization given to front-desk staff

Patient10x does not collect your phone number directly. Your healthcare provider collects your number and uses the Patient10x platform to send you a follow-up message after your visit.

Types of Messages You May Receive

If your healthcare provider uses Patient10x, you may receive one or more of the following message types:

  • A one-time SMS after your appointment inviting you to share your experience on Google or complete a private feedback survey
  • A link to a CAHPS-aligned patient satisfaction survey hosted by Patient10x
  • A confirmation message acknowledging your feedback submission

Patient10x does not send promotional, marketing, or advertising messages. All messages are transactional and directly related to your healthcare experience.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies by healthcare provider. In most cases, you will receive no more than one SMS per visit. Your healthcare provider controls the frequency of messages sent through the Patient10x platform.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Patient10x does not charge you for receiving SMS messages. Contact your mobile carrier if you have questions about your messaging plan.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Patient10x at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent to your number.

You may also opt out by contacting your healthcare provider directly and requesting that your phone number be removed from their Patient10x messaging list.

No PHI in SMS Messages

Patient10x is committed to HIPAA compliance. No protected health information (PHI) is included in any SMS message sent through the Patient10x platform. Messages contain only your first name (if provided), the name of your healthcare provider, and a secure URL link.

Privacy Compliance

Patient10x has SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2, HIPAA, PHIPA, PIPEDA, and NIST certifications. All SMS messaging practices comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), HIPAA, and applicable state and federal regulations.
